How many times has God lifted us out of our troubles and afflictions? Can you count how many times? I know that I can’t! So many times He has delivered me out of my own afflictions and given me answers to many problems I have faced in life and come up with miracles in the eleventh hour. It is something I like to tell about in hopes that it can bring others faith In God up a notch for His Glory. There have been times when someone I relate those answered prayers to, look at me with doubt written all over their faces, even Christian brothers and sisters of the faith. Do your prayers seem to go unanswered or are you just missing the answer when God does give it to you? Or could it be it is just not time yet? God works in HIS time not ours. While you wait on the Lord for answers do you Praise Him? Do you Praise Him and give thanks to Him every day even when things are all running smoothly and “hunky dory?” That is where I know and have seen so many of us fall short (including myself sometimes). A good Christian sister reminded me today in a chat we had that fear and unbelief can get in the way of prayers being answered. They are two things that don’t make God very happy. Are these things getting in YOUR way? Well, I learned something today from this sister whose faith is absolutely awesome and am sharing it now. BELIEVE AND HAVE FAITH in this Psalm. BELIEVE AND HAVE FAITH in all of God’s Word and all fear will depart!! GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD FOR ANSWERED PRAYERS AND IN BETWEEN TIMES TOO!!
THANKYOU ABBA FATHER FOR ALL THE LOVE YOU HAVE FOR US AND THANKYOU FOR YOUR MERCY AND FORGIVENESS WHEN WE FALL SHORT!! AMEN!!
Psalm 116 (King James Version)
I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.
Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.
Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.
Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.
The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.
Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.
For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.
I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:
I said in my haste, All men are liars.
What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?
I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.
I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.
Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.
O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.
I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.
I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.
In the courts of the LORD's house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD
