All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

This morning when I awoke, in all honesty, I did not feel up to writing a devotional today. The thought of the obstacles I have been facing just made me feel a bit lax and lazy. I sat here and this word came to mind, “discipline.” Then two minutes after my thoughts were “serve the God who loves me and will surely dissolve the obstacles in my path because it is He who has made me.” Then two minutes afterward these words “Be still and know that I am God.” I went to today’s Psalm and Lo and Behold, the very words God had just placed in my mind and heart were right there, in the very Psalm I was to write this devotional for. If there is anybody out there who does not believe our God is real and does not speak to His children, I for one am here to testify that He is VERY REAL! He DOES SPEAK and He does not ever leave your side. When troubles and obstacles get in the way, He is walking with you and He has placed in us the power to overcome anything that life throws at us. So, this morning I am reminded to not be discouraged, to rise above all and I will indeed serve the Lord with gladness and know that He is God. The God who made me, loves me and who’s mercy is indeed everlasting. Thank you Lord for these words You have spoken today! Thank You for this day You have given to this sheep! AMEN!!

Psalm 100(KJV)
1Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
2Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
3Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
5For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations

Exodus 14:13-15
And Moses said unto the people,Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will show to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more for ever. 14 The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. 15 And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? Speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward.

Yes Mary and it is time to be still. Did all that I could to get things into motion this weekend now I wait on our Lord. I truly believe sis. Just was feeling a bit drained this morning. Also am faced with MANY who think I am crazy. Non believers in the power of our God! Can hardly wait for testimony that comes out of this one Mary,so that maybe someday those who shake their heads will listen, hear and BELIEVE!! AMEN!!
