Preparation is Crucial

The Lord's Return is much closer than we may realize and as Christ Followers we should be in a personal state of readiness.

So then how do you prepare for Christ's return? There are three encouragements I would like to leave with you tonight and I hope all that read will listen carefully to the Spirit speaking and be found CHASING THE WILD GOOSE!

Be WATCHFUL! Matthew 24:40-41 reminds us - ...WATCH therefore, for you know not what hour your Lord will come. The word 'watch' means to be alert and be on guard that anything should steal your joy and message that JESUS IS COMING!!!

Be PRAYERFUL! Enter into HIS Courts with thanksgiving and praise carried by the thoughts of where you were when GOD found you and dispensed HIS marvelous Grace into your life. The Gospel of Luke in verse 21 tells us "Watch therefore, and PRAY always ... Pray that you will be courageous in your walk, never bow or bend to darkness, always taking your STAND.

Be FAITHFUL! Luke 21 again tells us; be aware of yourselves and do not at any time let your heart be filled with the CARES OF THIS LIFE, so that day come upon you by surprise.

Please recognize that we live NOW more than ever in our lives at A TIME OF VIOLENCE, A CORRUPTION OF GOD'S GOOD ORDER and A TIME OF MORAL CORRUPTION. The Bible appears to sum our time as in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.

Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.
