Preaching To a High School

Recently I was asked by the president of CIA(Christians In Action) at a high school here in North Carolina to preach to the club. She came to my church and heard me preach and she told the club that I would be speaking at this huge event at her school.

She told me that they are expecting a lot of students, so the nerves are beginning to kick in. The event is titled "Rock at the Pole". Jesus is the rock and we will be gathered around the flagpole. If the weather is bad we will move to the gym(I would rather do that, anyhow). This is scheduled for Wednesday, April 20th.

I'm not only happy that my friend asked me(an 18 year old) instead of an experienced pastor or  well known preacher, but I'm ecstatic that God Himself would put this on her heart for me to speak.

I strongly believe that God is going to move at this event. I can feel it in my heart and very soul that God is going to change lives-even if it's one life that is changed, then that is all that matters to me.

I have a challenge for you as a Christian: pray, please? Say a prayer right now about it. Please. I believe God will move in a mighty way, but even more mighty if I have prayer warriors calling God about this.

On Wednesday night, I will post a blog about how the event went and the results.

My title for my message is "A Beaten Testimony".
