It seems Sister that you are counting on your works to get God to bless you with your necessities, Look at Ro.4:1-8, where Abraham had whereof to glory but not before God.
When we take our offerings before God, to remind Him of how much we are worshiping Him with our substance, we are more or less obligating God to bless us. Though our works are necessary, they have nothing to do with our blessings from Him. I know that in Luke 6:38 it says “Give and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over shall men give into your bosom“, But this is all done with cheerfulness from the heart without greediness. In other words in Psa. 51 it says that “Thou desirest not sacrifice else would I give it, thou delightest not in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken Spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God thou wilt not despise” So you can see that God does not want your sacrifice. He gave to you; He wants you to give back to Him.
“The emphasis on GIVING” Freely ye have received; so freely give.Mat.10:8.

So don’t give your tithes, notice!! “You don‘t pay your tithes, you give tithes” paying shows obligation, and God loves a cheerful giver;

2Cor.9:7 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
So if you change your reason for giving, you will indeed reap great rewards, as a free gift from God.

2Pet.1:2-4. Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,  According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you. Mat.6:33

So may you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers. 3Jo. 1:2.

Blessings in His Name.
Joe
