PRAYER for U and I

Dear God, I come before you to glorify your greatness and your goodness. Your mercy is infinite and your generosity is boundless. I am sorry for all things I have done that offended You Father. I only want to abide by Your will and surrender control of my life to You, I may have not been totally successful yet but I know in Your good time… I will get there. Dear God, please continue to reign in my heart and I thank You so much for the joy and peace that You bring with You. Father, please allow me to possess at all times the wisdom that can only come from You… to guide me and enlighten me in all my decisions…with my thoughts and feelings placed in accordance to Your will. May Your Holy Spirit continuously fill my life with all the good things I know You wish to bring me. Thank You Lord.

Almighty Father, I also ask You to please continue watching over Charlie. May he always be guided by the Holy Spirit in all that he does. Please grant him the wisdom that can only come from You, so he may be enlightened in the choices that he makes. May his heart be in the right place at all times… to have his thoughts and feelings be in accordance to Your will as well. As he goes through crucial changes in his life, please make him feel Your presence and be open to the grace I know You will give him… The grace that will grant him the desire and the courage to do what is pleasing to You. May he keep in mind that You only want what is best for him and that includes the joy and peace he deserves in his earthly life.

Dear God, I call on Your boundless generosity to bless Charlie and me with all the good things that a life with You can bring. Please let him feel my love at all times, and may he be secured and happy knowing that he is loved. May he cherish our times together and see the blessing of having each other in our lives, though physically apart, as one of the good things You bring. I have no claim of the future… I have decided to rely on You for whatever that comes… but in my heart dear Lord, I know, what we have at present is a gift from You. And so, I thank You with all my heart. God, please have our hearts and minds open to where You want to lead us. Teach us to listen and help us carry out Your divine purpose for our individual lives. You know each of us better than we know ourselves. Help us rely on Your understanding, and not our own, about our future. Thank you Lord…In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray.  Amen.
