Parable of the Tenants (Matthew 21:33-41) - NIV

1. We are stewards of God's earth. (V.33)

2. God expects a return on  his investment in us. (V.34)

3. Evildoers will plunder God's earth and refuse to accept his sovereignty. (V.35)

4. Evildoers will repeatedly rebel against God's sovereignty. (V.36)

5. God in his grace will send his son expecting us to accept and obey him. (V.37)

6. Evildoers will reject the word of God in greed, rebellion, defiance and haste. (V.38)

7. Evildoers will murder God's son. (V.39)

8. Evildoers will be punished by God with eternal condemnation. (V.40,41)
