Parable of the Tenants (Luke 20:9-18) - NIV

1. God gives us gifts, talents and resources to be used for his glory. (V.9)

2. God will call us to account on judgement day. (V.10)

3. Evildoers will resist and rebel against God. (V.10-12)

4. God's expectation is that we believe and accept his son. (V.13)

5. Evildoers will rebel and reject the son and resort to murder. (V.14-15)

6. God will punish evil with eternal damnation. (V.16)

7. Jesus, the cornerstone and rock will become the Head. (V.17)

8. Rebellion and rejection of God's son is an exercise in eternal futility. (V.18)
