Parable of the Ten Virgins (Matthew 25: 1-13) - NIV

1. Anointing is a pre -  requisite to meet God. (V.1)

2. Some of us will choose foolishness over wisdom. (V.2)

3. Some of us imprudently will not accept Jesus as Saviour and Lord. (V.3)

4. The wise will confess their sins and accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour. (V.4)

5. No one knows the day and hour of the second coming of Jesus Christ. (V.5)

6. The second coming of Jesus will be sudden and without warning. (V.6)

7. At the second coming of Jesus all mankind will have to rendezvous with him. (V.7)

8. Some of us, unwisely, will try to reconcile with God at the eleventh hour. (V.8)

9. Our saved friends will not be in a position to help us. (V.9)

10. Those who have accepted Jesus as Saviour and Lord will be saved. (V.10)

11. The unsaved will entreat God to open the shut door. (V.11)

12. God will reject the cries of the unsaved at the zero hour. (V.12)

13. We are to be watchful and alert to the second coming of Jesus. (V.13)
