Parable of the Ten Minas (Luke 19:11-27) - NIV

1. People have different expectations about the appearance of the kingdom of God. (V.11)

2. God will test his people to know their hearts. (V.12)

3. God expects us to be good stewards of his gifts, talents and resources. (V.13)

4. God will be hated by the forces of darkness. (V.14)

5. The Son of Man will be proclaimed king and all will be required to give account of their lives. (V.15)

6. Good stewards multiply and grow what has been given to them by God. (V.16,18)

7. God will reward people for their faithfulness. (V.17,19)

8. Evildoers will misuse and waste their God given talents. (V.20)

9. Evildoers will be arrogant and rebellious towards God. (V.21)

10. God will judge evildoers by the measure they use. (V.22)

11. God expects everyone to utilise their gifts for God's glory. (V.23)

12. God will punish evil and reward good. (V.24)

13. Human protests do not deter God's sovereign action. (V.25)

14. Good will be richly rewarded, evil punished stringently. (V.26)

15 God's enemies will face death and suffering by eternal fire. (V.27)
