1. We need to adapt in our efforts to evangelize. (V.1)

2. We need to focus on the morals and principles of God's word. (V.2)

3. God is always sowing into people's lives. (V.3)

4. God's word will be resisted and bitten by the enemy. (V.4)

5. God's word needs to be deeply rooted in our lives or we will wither and be scorched in times of testing. (V.5,6)

6. God's word will be unfruitful if give priority to our wants and delusions of wealth. (V.7)

7. We need to hear, understand and apply God's word in our lives to be abundantly productive. (V.8)

8. We need to listen keenly and intently to the word of God. (V.9)
