Only the beginning...

Here is my first blog post. I love this site and the opportunities it provides to love and learn and listen and share our experience, strength and hope.

Its a sort of a rainy day here in California. We are facing a drought as we are way behind in our annual rainfall percentages, and every newscast is full of drama and fear infliction, "Only .10 inches of rain today." What does that mean? No boating in Folsom Lake? Metered water? Dead lawns? Crazy how some states are flooded and ours is parched. It reminds me of how powerless we are over so many things.

It is deeply comforting to belong to a Kind King who will always take care of us - no matter what is going on. I know peace because whatever happens, God will provide everything we need to live fruitfully and joyfully.
