This reminds me of a poem entitled "I'd rather see a sermon'. The first line of the poem states "I'd rather see a sermon preached than hear one any day".
Another verse says "fine counsel is confusing , but example's always clear.'
Action's are what the world judges us by and should also be one of the priority measures that we ' judge ourselves by'.
God bless
That's the problem with the world. It's "typical". We have a life group that plays volley ball on Sunday nights. Our devotion on the first night of the new semester last week was on "serving"...since you "serve" in volley ball. That was one of the things discussed. We have a tendency to see what is in front of us and "tune out" what is going on around us. We see a car on the side of the road and drive past. Granted we're also to use wisdom in that if it's some big burly dude and you have no clue how to fix a car, you don't need to stop, but you can call and report the car broken down to get help out. ;-) We see someone trying to climb on a shelf at Walmart (I've done it many many times), and you're 6 ft. tall and standing there trying to find an item and all you need to do is say "can I get that for you", but you're too focused on your needs that you don't notice the 5'4" woman climbing on the shelf to reach the top. We are in a hurry. Sometimes we need to slow down.
I know I've been guilty of it, and then I think about what I "should" have done after the fact. And I just keep praying for God to help me to see these things BEFORE I pass them, to bring them to my attention and help me focus on what's happening and think quicker.

Im not a professing chistian , Seek but curiosty got me. To me..... that's hust a typical " in a hurry person. But it reminds me of few months back. I had to go inside a store... My oldest grand kids went with me. I remember we were in an isle for about 30 minutes and I didny have one thing in my cart. It wasn't because I couldn't deside whar I wanted .. it was because I was trying not to go into a full panic attack. The store was packed. My grandkids talked me through and so I started to move my cart again, Some people was pushing their cart toward us. I tried turning my cart... like a stupid person and move out away from them When I did this my cart knocked over a stack of boxes full of ... I cant remember what.. I think maybe cereal or chips. Thankful it wasn't glass. Bt anyway while this was happening and falling a man and women with them followed be two boys just missed getting hit b the boxes. the 2 boys had been talking to each other. The boys stopped and started helping me pick up the stuff. Ehile they were doing that they continued to talk to eacj other. When it was all done they walked to their parents who had stopped and waited for them. My grandkids were behind me and blocked from other carts. I just stood there again but this time not because of panic biy just dumbfounded . My grand kids asked me if I was ok... and I just kept saying... wow did yall see that. LOL I told them that we just witnessed a ver rare thing . These boys wernt made to help me.... they just did it. Im not sure if they were wearing Jesus saves shirts or bracelets or not but ... just triggered that day at the store.
I thought so too LT. For it to be so short, it hits the point home. I was talking with my boss about it yesterday because of the fish emblem in the video. I wanted one of those but I wouldn't purchase one for the longest time because I didn't want people to see that on my car and then see me get irritated at drivers some morning. LOL I have one now, bought it about a year ago.
One word: Powerful!
If we are going to talk the talk.....we better be willing to walk the walk. Be a blessing in someone's life today. Chose to be the example of who Jesus really is to you. Thanks Seek for this one. :-)
