Not trusting in Jesus is dangerous!

There are many things in life that  called for our trust, but they do not have a lasting foundation. As the word of God says in Matthew  7:26- But anyone who hears my teaching and doesn't obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on a sand. I mean think about the world we live on is like sand and water. So if earthquakes, can come to change the foundation of the earth. Think about if you have put your trust in a lot of things other than God, Like money, success, people, celebrities, food, house, cars etc... But those things lose their flavor too. Nothing in this world has a lasting foundation like Jesus Christ. He was sent to us, to prove to the end of time. That he never changes , but the world changes all the time. As the word of God says in Hebrews  13:8- Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Money cannot be trusted because God has repeatedly warn us that money is not forever as the word of God says Proverbs  23:5- In the  blink of an eye wealth disappears, for it will sprout wings and fly away like an eagle. And the world is literally in tumult because of it. God knows that we need money.But we should not have such a higher regard for it than him. AS the word of God says Matthew 6:24-"  No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. Money  can be burden if you desire it more than Jesus. As the word of God 1 Timothy 6:9- But people who long to be rich fall into temptation and are trapped by foolish and harmful desire that plunge them into ruin and destruction. Money has cause many heartaches to other and mostly cost a lot of lack contentment. It can get us to think that we can never be happy without .But Jesus is the only one who can filled your voids in your life. If he can satisfy thirst of a woman ( Samaritan )  that went to get her regular cup of water. And tell her if you know the gift I can get you, you would ask for it. As the word of God says in John 4:10- Jesus replied, " If you only knew the gift God has for you and who you are speaking to , you would ask me, and I would give you living water."And then God showed us what happen to the Israelites when they did not trust  him, they could not enter his rest. As the word of God says in  Hebrews 3:16- And who was it who rebelled against God, even though they heard  his voice? Wasn't it the people Moses led out of  Egypt? And Hebrews 3:17-And who made God angry for forty years? Wasn't it the people who sinned, whose corpses lay in the wilderness? Hebrews 3:18- And  to whom was God speaking when he took an oath that they would never enter his rest? Wasn't if the people who disobeyed him? Not trusting in Jesus has some serious consequences. Like he said in Isaiah 30:12-14- This is the reply of the Holy One of Israel;" Because you despise what I tell you and trust instead in oppression and lies. calamity will come upon you suddenly like a bulging wall that bursts and falls. In an instant it will collapse  and come crashing down. There is nothing that can help  you like  Jesus can. Because He made Heaven and earth.

If you want a relationship with Jesus : Lord Jesus I turn to you today, I am a sinner in need of your grace. I know that I have broken your law. But Jesus you  came to forgive me of all my lawless deeds. To come to fill my empty heart with your Holy Spirit. And that I will surrender my ways and let go of my life. In Jesus Name. Amen.
