I never knew my purpose. Was it being a believer or being a self indulger? Or in between as a little bit of both? As we all know, Jesus said " We can't serve two masters and if we try, we'll love one and despise the other." I found that to be true while in slavery to drugs, while having my heart cry out to the God I grew up with and loved. Thus, I'm back with the only true "master" The Lord. But still what was I here for? It couldn't be to live as the constant screw up that I was! There had to be something to it all. To all the loving kindness and guidance God gave me as I walked the Broad and spacious path. He had a reason for me being there because I knew as well as everyone else that I certainly didn't fit in or belong in the way in which I walked. So now after all the pain, struggling and sorrow that was un~neccessary but gave me wisdom, where did I fit in? Everyone has a different purpose and the truth is, everything really does happen for a reason. I lived in both worlds and walked all of those different paths to teach and magnify God's glory with the way my life has changed for the better thru him. What's your purpose? First, look to see if the way you are living is even right for you. Second eliminate anything negative so you can see ore clearly. Third reflect on what your heart has been trying to tell you about who you "really" are as a person. What are your passions? What are the things in your life that cause you grief? Think about everything God has taught you in the lessons you got out of experiances and think about ways he's been there for you. Last, after doing all of that you should be able to easily pin-point where you want to be in your life and what God wants you to do with your time. There alot of different purposes for alot of different people. Some to teach, some to assist, some to be in the medical field to comfort and help those who are sick, some that are ment to help a certain family member who is in a troubled way of life. What ever yours is...God will certainly make it clear to you once you give yourself the time to actually ponder it over without the negative ways of the world getting in the way....Good Luck in your search.
