2 Cor 5:7 NIV We live by faith, not by sight.
GW Indeed, our lives are guided by faith, not by sight.
Rom 8:24 For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has?
1 Cor 13:12 Now we see a blurred image in a mirror. Then we will see very clearly. Now my knowledge is incomplete. Then I will have complete knowledge as God has complete knowledge of me.
2 Cor 4:18 We don't look for things that can be seen but for things that can't be seen. Things that can be seen are only temporary. But things that can't be seen last forever.
Heb 11:1 GW Faith assures us of things we expect and convinces us of the existence of things we cannot see.
NIV Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
As we understand this Truth, all other things will make sense to us.
We walk by faith and not by sight, meditate on these scriptures.
As long as you continue to move by faith in Jesus it will be o.k..
It may appear that we are going backwards, but the Truth is God knows what He is doing.
For what seems backwards to us could very well be forwards to Holy Ghost. Our trust is
in the Lord, not in our emotions, eyes, heart, or in any other one of our senses. And that
is a very good thing. Yes, it can be a hard thing to learn, but it is alright because,
Rom 8:1 So those who are believers in Christ Jesus can no longer be condemned.
So let these things be in our thoughts and prayer for others and ourselves.

So true Chris, we are faced with so many visual temptations in this modern world and that is why our faith is so important in helping us to not lose sight of the Lord. Thanks for sharing brother.

Love the passages they are a constant reminder of just how human I am.. By faith I go forward yet I have to admit remembrance of things in the past helps me to sstand in that faith.
