not a cookie cutter God

The problem with Christianity, will always be people. The fact that it involves, God’s Children is the reason it is worth working things out. Yet, because we do not serve a cookie cutter God, how we handle things will differ. One no better then the other, as long as, two things are true. First, Jesus is to be Glorified! Plain and simple, that must be the outcome. Second, that things are corrected. Meaning, the enemy is not given room to move. it will always try, but when the Light of Jesus is Brightly shining on events, Truth is be clearly seen.

Here are a few thoughts I have on this subject. When we go into things wanting Jesus Glorified, and the Light is clearly shining on us and our actions, any sin will be exposed. This is only a problem to flesh, spirit wants and frankly needs this. If, we go into things with let’s say pride, it will be clear to all. Victory is not when pride is exposed. That is only half of the battle. Victory comes when, after pride is exposed then, humility takes it’s place. Matt 12:43-45 43"When an evil spirit comes out of a person, it goes through dry places looking for a place to rest. But it doesn't find any. 44Then it says, 'I'll go back to the home I left.' When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean, and in order. 45Then it goes and brings along seven other spirits more evil than itself. They enter and take up permanent residence there. In the end the condition of that person is worse than it was before. That is what will happen to the evil people of this day." When demons are exercised from a person, this is why it is so important to make sure the Holy Spirit be invited into that person. And, to a smaller sense the example I share here. When we are faced with these things, our flesh will want to deny, blame another, the events go on and on. When we are shown faults in ourselves, and we chose to Glorify Christ. We repent {which means change} we ask the others to also forgive us, well then we all win, and it is only the enemy and it’s imps that lose.

We are unable to fix anyone. We do not ever have that ability. If, we did then how would Jesus be Glorified? No, we do not fix people, the Spirit does. When we are led by the Spirit to, share words of encouragement. When we Pray for others. Even when we lay hands on the sick, drive demons from others in Jesus Name. And, whatever else we do for others, as well as ourselves. Healing comes, Prayers answered, and all the rest because the Spirit is at work. Because, God answered the request. From and through the Power and Name of Jesus. To Him belongs all the Glory, Praise, and Honor. We are Healed by Christ. We are Healed in the Name of Jesus. No, by our obedience to His Will things happen. The Spirit leads us to say words that, the other person is already prepared to hear. Or, they are seeds, which the ground is being prepared for. 1Cor 3:7 So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is important because [only] God makes it grow. We will get in the way when we look for any praise. We muck things up when we want the spot light. As a matter of fact, that is a clear way to tell many things. Who and what is wanting the glory.

Another way things can be seen is fruit. Now, just like in the natural, fruit comes in many flavors, and many shapes. We must learn how to detect things in the Spirit. People many times get discouraged because, they do not see what they think is or should be fruit. To go back to one of my original statements, “we do not serve a cookie cutter God.” So fruit is different, for different people. Now make no mistake, “Spiritual Fruit” is and must be based on God. He is the One that makes things grow. He is the One that Supplies all things.
Col 1:6 That which was preached to you, as also to the whole world, and grows and yields fruit, just as also in you from the day when you heard and were taught the Grace of God in the Truth.
