New Year 2012

Happy New year 2012

Another year passed and there will be a new beginning. Another year it starts from the month of January and the whole year slowly passed one after another month, one day after another day. It is not new. I have passed 51 long years is it not amazing! Bible says in Psalms. 90:10 “ The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away”.  My wonderful God has added another one day in New Year 2012. I am satisfied what God has done to me in the previous year as well as in the past years. I don’t want to look back. Do I count all my failure and success in the previous years? No it can’t help me to moving forward. Paul said in his letter to Philippians church. Phil 3:14 “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus”. It is better to ask God show me how I can move forward in the New Year. We need guidance of God to spend our time more effectively on this earth. Eph.5:16 “Redeeming the time, because the days are evil” and Eph.5:17 “Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is”. 

More important we should moving OUT of the PAST

2Co:5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new. God made us new and how long we live with the old. We should understand the will of God and move on this earth with passionate heart to live for other, bring the people who are still living in the bondage of sin and eternal punishment. We are the followers of Jesus Christ means we are following Jesus Christ’s footsteps more broadly we are farewell to the ways of devil. Now Christ lives in me and I am pressing on to achieve and win the prize, win the battle. Jn. 9:4 “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work”.  It is very important for us to perform rather than cry for the past failure or overjoyed for the past success.

Learning to living in the PRESENT

Every second of the life is important. Don’t live with the past testimonies rather than create new testimonies in your life. What you have done was already reached to God like a fragrance, God has accepted all your good work, but God is expected more from you he want to see what you have doing “NOW”.  M't:6:33-34 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof”. We are naturally so busy to thinking about tomorrow, but we are neglected the present, “NOW”. My dear friend every one we have pass through there is someone waiting for you to know about Jesus Christ about salvation. Be sensitive towards you present. Why worried about tomorrow!   Phil 4:6 “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God”.   Isa.41:10. “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness”. 

Let God guide your Future

Why you so much think about future. We are so smart to make a plan for next 365 days, however we cannot forget whose hand needs to be in our future plans. It is very difficult for us to understand God plan for our live but in this New Year Bible want to teach us something.  Proverb.3:6 “In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths”. How we know his path? Very simple! Sit-down in the presence of God and ask him to guide you. Jer 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you. saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end’. Jos1:9. “Have not I commanded thee?  Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest”.

I have encourage you all in this point of time set apart your all worries and enjoy the New Year with  thanks giving. Bible has always encouraged those who love God and faith in his word. Bible encourages us to walk in a new path with new vision. Let your Next 365 days of 2012 years may bring joy and happiness to many who come across to your life.
