My Christian Journey

As I was reading Matthew 6 this morning, I thought that I should pray Jesus's model prayer - the Lord's Prayer - everyday because it says "Give us today our daily bread."  (NIV). 

As I was reading Genesis 15, it said "Abram believed the LORD, and it was credited to him as righteousness."  (NIV).  I should believe all of God's promises.  As I was reading Matthew 6, it says that when we give to the needy, we should do it in secret.  We shouldn't let everyone know about it.  It also says we should pray in secret.  If we forgive people when they sin against us, God will forgive us.  If we do not forgive people their sins, God will not forgive our sins.  Where our treasure is, their our heart will be also.  I think this means if we give money to ministries and tell others about Jesus and do other Christian things, then that is where our heart will be.
