“Lose no time; settle with your opponent while on your way to court with him.” Mt.5:25

Reflection:

God judges us with clemency if He finds in us a mercy that is ready to forgive.

Why do I hesitate in showing mercy to my enemy? For both of us life’s road can come to an abrupt end.

Prayer:

“Merciful Savior, help me to show mercy to others, since I hope to receive mercy from You. In the name of Jesus I pray. AMEN!!!”

Comment by Shanthi on May 6, 2013 at 12:13am: Thank you...i went through this situation last week..where my collegue was really nasty to me, shouted at me in front of my juniour colleagues. I was embarassed and was sad about it. I did what Jesus told me...forgive her, she does not know what she is doing. I forgave her and even apologised to her, cause I may have done something to hurt her without me knowing. She was rude again. I cried feeling sad for her. I told God, is it worth it Father...why do I need to be treated such... God told me to acknowledge her after a few days. I did it and she gestured my acknowledgement. Today I tried speaking to her and she acted normal.

Thank you Father for changing me to be like you...if I had not known you I would have reacted differently.
