Minute meditation for each day (67)

“You will suffer in the world. But take courage! I have overcome the world.” Jn.16:33

Reflection:

   The essence of the world is human exaltation of self. Christ overcame this by His obedience.

   We too will overcome it if first we conquer our own base, selfish nature and totally abandon ourselves to God. Am I ready to do this?

Prayer:

   “Lord, let me die to the world so that I may live only for You. In the name of Jesus I pray. AMEN!!!”
