“You are not judging by God’s standards but by man’s.” Mt.16:23

Reflection:

   Peter is reproved because in his zeal he wants to turn the Lord aside from His sorrowful way. This reproval can be directed to me also!

   Do I not prefer to work for God rather than to suffer or shed my blood for Him? Yet only one way leads to Him – the way of the Cross.

Prayer:

   “My crucified Lord, grant me a sincere love for the Cross. May I one day partake of its blessings. In the name of Jesus I pray. AMEN!!!”
