I usually compare my Christian walk in life with the Biblical people. I often question myself how much do i love God and my loveones? Up to what extent i could be faithful or am i faithful enough? Have i done enough or did i able to go that extra mile?
I believe biblical people ways in life are given to be a perfect example for our daily lives. How they handle trials, problems, sins, decisions, culture, realations, authority and etc.
Biblical people with great faith;
1. JOB - his life is really a very good comparison every time i want to question God for the bad times.
2. DAVID - admitted his faults and humble himself to God. from shepherd to king then to a fugitive and to a king again
3. ABRAHAM - leaving his comfort zone just to follow God. his obedience counted righteouness to him.
4. JOESPH d dreamer - Inspite of what happened to him, he still cling to God
5. DANIEL and HIS FRIENDS - burning furnace and lions den up to what extent i can hold on to our Lord and Savior. Up to what extent i can hold on that belief and not compromise. How they are devoted to prayers.
6. PAUL - inspite of that torn in the flesh he continue to serve the Lord, work with his own hand to support his needs. never cease on praying for the believers and his enemies.
7. our Lord JESUS CHRIST - Obedient to the Father up to the cross of calvary, limited his divine capacity, reached even the most hated people of society just to say that God loves them.
I know that whatever i do and say, still the merits would be done by God but i will never stop emulating that very good example.......
" For everything that was written in the past to teach us so that through endurance and the encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope. "
