Me-- Before Jesus VS After Jesus

Before Knowing Jesus

~outwardly everything seemed fine as I always presented myself as having no problems. 

~I was most concerned with the outfit of the day and how my hair looked..pretty shallow.

~i was angry all the time.

~I used bad language.

~I drank alot... even when I was by myself.

~I was racist.

~I would spend irresponsibly

~I gossiped and loved it....it didn't occur to me that the other person has a life with trials etc...

~I would dress innapropriately

~I was lonely and sad.

~my health was good.

~BUT-I suffered from anxiety.

~I was judgemental.  i thought I was better than others.

~It would never occur to me to help people..  If I heard something bad happened to someone I was just glad it didn't interrupt my life or have anything to do with me.

~Outwardly everything was presented as fine.

~Inwardly, I was in turmoil.

~Could not get my dyslexic son proper help with his dyslexia---kept hitting dead ends and paying alot of money for it.

~my son Joshua started to have terrible temper tantrums---i mean it was really bad.

~was reasonably 'okay' with my marriage.  But was still lonely.

After my conversion--My life with God...  Things changed...drastically.

~The Lord lead me thru ways of helping Joshua out of his terrible tantrums...which is good because they were really out of control.  It's been a journey of about 6 years.  There's still improvement...but people around are noticing the sweet gentle, bright child who would not be this way if it weren't for God's help.  He would have been in a special class in school for misbehaving children.

~Craig wanted to divorce initially after my conversion.  Friends and family (not all but some) rejected me also for my new faith....now several years later those relationships are all restored-miraculous.

~I was diagnosed with a congenital heart problem--not heart disease--.  Open heart surgery fixed that---This saved my marriage.

~Joshua's behaviour steadily improved and is still improving.  As a matter of fact he's being featured in a newspaper this month for raising over $700.00 for a little girl who had cancer and lost her hair..  Joshua held a hot chocolate/apple cider stand for her...served drinks for 3 hours to people with his cause posted on posters, and people gave to provide this little girl with a wig.

~Logan started getting proper dyslexia support as soon as I came to the Lord.

~I was recently diagnosed with stage 0 melanoma..  caught early--highly treatable.

~my spending is now controlled.

~I am no longer racist.

~I rarely have a glass of wine with my dinner---if ever. 

~I am now joyful.

~I don't gossip.

~Anxiety is gone.

~Now I recognize my own weaknesses and think of others better than me.

~I help people all the time--I am compelled to help them.

~I outwardly acknowledge my faults.

~I have an inward peacefulness.

~I let go of grudges. 

~My language is clean now.

~My dressing is modest.

~I have peace...with heart diagnoses, persecution from husband, trouble getting Logan proper help, dealing with sons peanut allergy and bad behaviour, Melanoma diagnoses, ...  God is working it all out.

As I recall the many things Jesus has done in my life to work all things out---all I can say is I am thankful.  I'm in Awe at what He can do.  and I am in Awe at what He does do...constantly. 

Jesus changes lives.  Don't let anyone tell you anything different.

God is not finished with me yet.  Praise Him.
