If you were to ask Christians, “Does God know what is best for you?” I think we can all agree that “yes” would be the correct answer. And I believe we would answer the question, w/o much time elapsed. “Do you obey God?” Once again, “yes” would be the best answer however, more time maybe taken to give it. “Do you trust God?” All these questions and many more like them to sound redundant. Yet, I propose we should ask them, to ourselves and others. And not just ask but, answer them w/ an open heart. Not to ask or answer w/, accusing or defensive tones. But, when answered w/ that open heart, they can bring dialogues, that will help everybody. We all struggle w/ things that, we face all day long. Because, we are the Body, we do not move ahead of anyone else. We move as One.
God knows our history, He knows it better then we do. We react to things based on how we, either remember them or are told about them. He brings things to us for our healing. He will chose the best way to bring that healing to us. When we find ourselves, going around and around on sandy ground. It is best, we learn what He is trying so very hard to tell us. In some cases, we might just need exercise. Other times, we are fighting to hold on to things to tight. And God is wanting us, to hold on to Him in that fashion. Because, there are things that we hold on to, that will lead us in wrong directions. And or by doing that we are unable to go where we need to go. Let us be clear in this, Heb 12:7 tells us to: Endure your discipline. God corrects you as a father corrects his children. All children are disciplined by their fathers. Then in Job 37 we read, Job 37:13 Whether for discipline, or for [the good of] his earth, or out of mercy, he makes the storm appear.
Job 37:23-24 The Almighty, whom we can't reach, is great in power and judgment, has more than enough righteousness, and does not oppress.
24 That is why people should fear him. He does not respect those who think they're wise."
Proverbs in several places, tells us also how God feels about discipline and, the effects when children are not.
Pro 23:13 Do not hesitate to discipline a child. If you spank him, he will not die.
Pro 22:15 Foolishness is firmly attached to a child's heart. Spanking will remove it far from him
Pro 29:15 A spanking and a warning produce wisdom, but an undisciplined child disgraces his mother.
As before let us be clear, no one moves ahead of another, any more then a foot or hand moves away from the body when we walk. We are all in this together. My desire is that, any and all know my heart and that these scriptures, filter the things that I post.
Rom 14:19 So let's pursue those things which bring peace and which are good for each other.
1 Cor 14:3 But when a person speaks what God has revealed, he speaks to people to help them grow, to encourage them, and to comfort them
1 Thess 5:11 Therefore, encourage each other and strengthen one another as you are doing.
Eph 4:29 Let no unwholesome words ever pass your lips, but let all your words be good for benefiting others according to the need of the moment, so that they may be a means of blessing to the hearers.
To Jesus to all the Glory. By obedience to God and the leading of Holy Ghost we help each other.
