Marriage Scriptures to Confess

1.My husband and I are one flesh, and no one can tear that apart. (Matthew 19:4-6).My wife and I stand together, united in Christ. We have each other’s backs and operate as a team. (Ecclesiastes 4:12).Our home is built on the Lord’s wisdom. (Proverbs 24:3-4)

2.We stand firm and courageous because the Lord is with us. (Joshua 1:9).Our delight is in you, Lord. May we meditate on your law day and night. When we do, our marriage and family will be like a tree planted by streams of what, which yields fruit in its season and whose leaf does not wither. (Psalm 1:1-3)

3.We shall give the enemy no room in our hearts, in our marriage, and our family. (Ephesians 4:27).We trust you in all things and do good toward each other. May we treasure faithfulness in our marriage in our lives. (Psalm 37:3),Create in us a clean heart that seeks you first in all things. (Psalm 51:10)

4.Your Word says that two are better than one. This is your design. We choose to lift each other as you have created us to do. (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10).May we delight in our love for one another. (Song of Songs 4:10).May we live together in harmony and unity with each other, that we may glorify you. (Romans 15:5-6).This marriage and our home will be a house a prayer, worship, and joy. (Matthew 21:13)

5.We declare this marriage will fulfill the purpose that you intended it too, we will walk out the call of God on our lives individually and as a couple. (Proverbs 19:21).I declare and decree that my marriage is ordained by God and will be a success..I will put God first in my marriage and relationship, in Jesus name.I declare and decree my husband will stay faithful in our marriage.I declare and decree my wife will stay faithful in our marriage.

6.I declare and decree that my Husband will love and honor me.I declare and decree that my wife will submit and respect me in love. I declare and decree that no weapon formed against our marriage will be able to prosper.I declare and decree that wicked patterns and cycles of failed marriages in my bloodline are over, in Jesus name.I declare and decree divine favor over our marriage, in Jesus name.
I turn away from everything in my life and around me that gives Satan the power and legality to attack my marriage, in the name of Jesus.

7.I declare and decree that the Blood of Jesus step into my marriage and bring it into alignment with the word of God, in the name of Jesus. I take authority against anything that is a hindrance or stumbling block in our marriage. I stand against Pain, Jealousy, Bitterness, Anger, Unforgiveness, Hurt, Lying Tongue, Hatred, and Sorrow. I stand against oppression and oppressors of my marriage. Satan you have no power over my marriage because you did not create it. It was created by God and it is blessed by him.

8.I stand against the spirit of lust, in Jesus name. I stand in agreement with what Jesus, my mediator, is speaking before the courtrooms of heaven, concerning my marriage.
Let Every ungodly voice over my marriage be silenced now, in the name of Jesus
I stand against the spirit of adultery, in the name of Jesus.
I take a stand against wondering eyes, in Jesus name.
Forgive me for speaking ill of my marriage.
I come against every negative thought, action, need, and word that was spoken to cause problems in my marriage. Whether through me or someone else.
I declare and decree that moving forward, we will do everything according to God’s Word for our marriage.
I declare and decree that we will be united together in love and spirit, in Jesus name.
I cramp and paralyze every demonic assignment over my marriage and family, in Jesus name.
9.I declare and decree that there will be no lack in our marriage.
I declare and decree that we will live faithfully and lovingly together, in Jesus name.
I declare and decree that there is no more lack financially in my marriage.
We will be good stewards of our money; we will live within our means.

10.We will owe no debt to anyone, in Jesus name.
I declare and decree that every debt will be canceled, settled or paid in full.
I declare and decree that we will pay our tithe unto the God.
Lord, I surrender my marriage to you now, in the name of Jesus.
I declare and decree that the peace of God that passes all understanding will be upon my marriage, in Jesus name.
I come against educational delinquency from over my children, in Jesus name.
My children are a success and will excel in school, in Jesus name, Amen.
We Declare and Decree it is So, in Jesus name, Amen!!

11. I decree a blessing over ________________ and declare healing, prosperity, and joy will be his/her portion.I decree hope and joy to fill _______________’s heart as the presence of God covers him/her throughout the day.I decree the shield of God’s presence to cover and be established deep within ______________’s heart.

I decree ________________  is my gift from God.I decree a renewed and deepened love for _________________ and for the love of God to protect our marriage. I decree a faith-filled increase over _________________ this very day.

I decree a mantle of the Holy Spirit to protect __________________ through this day.I decree my love for __________________  is kind, gentle, and patient.I decree that my marriage to ________________ is God-ordained and has a purpose for God’s Kingdom.I decree that no weapon formed against my marriage will prosper. I decree _______________ has the full armor of God surrounding him/her throughout this day. I decree the blood of Jesus to cover my marriage and protect __________________ as he/she belongs to You.I decree righteousness in my marriage and that truth and the promise of purity will be forever sealed.

I decree freedom and liberty to come to my marriage. It is no longer captive to any power of darkness. I decree pure thoughts, pure motives, and pure words will be declared over my marriage. I decree the cleansing blood of Jesus to erase any shame, any rebellion, and any unforgiveness I hold over my marriage. I decree my marriage is covered by the presence of God and protected from any lies of the enemy.­­­­­­My marriage reflects the true nature of God. I bless our union and speak wholeness of life over it.

12. My marriage is God-ordained from the beginning and will be a true example of His goodness. My marriage is based on a secure and solid foundation of God’s Word. I will stand firm and not allow my shifting feelings or emotions to deter me. My covenant with my spouse is sealed and blessed as our love and desires are to be more like Christ. I cherish, love, and respect my spouse as we walk through this life together. I will not compare, fantasize, complain, murmur, or belittle my spouse. I speak blessings, power, and honor over him/her.Our life is filed with love and care for one another and we are committed to each other till the end of our lives
13. I yield my whole self to an intimate and unified perfect love with my spouse. Our life is secure and undefiled. Our love is perfect and we are bound together by God’s perfect love. Bible says that the ear of the lord is not deaf nor his hand short that he does not hear us, but our iniquities have separated us from our God Isaiah 59:1.  We therefore must first bring repentance over our past participation by thoughts words or deed our iniquities which would cause the Lord not to hear us. I repent over every sin and wickedness in my marriage  in the name of Jesus .I turn way from everything in my life that gives Satan a foothold and legality in my marriage in the name of Jesus.

14.I repent of every ungodly confession I have made over my marriage in the name of Jesus. I repent of every ungodly confession that  is standing as a witness and testimony before you in the name of Jesus .Father have mercy upon me in the name of Jesus. Forgive me for wrong confessions, utterances, declarations, thoughts, actions, I have done which are speaking against me, before you in the name of Jesus.

15.I decree and declare that my marriage shall receive and release the strength, honor, glory that marriage brings in Jesus name. I decree and declare that my marriage shall reflect the glory of God in Jesus name. I decree and declare that two shall put to flight Ten thousand, that is my portion in my marriage in Jesus name. I decree and declare that wicked patterns and cycles of marriages in my bloodline is broken in the name of Jesus and by the voice of the blood of the lamb. Every handwriting of wicked codes speaking against my marriage be bloated out by the blood of Jesus. I station Angels of defense along my marriage in Jesus name. Blood of Jesus surround my marriage in the name of Jesus. I station the word of the Lord as a wall around my marriage, it shall not be like a city with no walls  in Jesus name .I decree and declare that I will have prophetic utterances over my marriage in Jesus name. Blood of Jesus step into the foundation of my marriage and align it to the word of God in the name of Jesus

16.Blood of Jesus speak healing, restoration, true love, true peace, true joy, true favor, true harmony, unity, wisdom, understanding, knowledge, fruitfulness into my marriage in the name of Jesus. I raise the banner and the standard of Christ and declare the Lordship of Jesus over my marriage in the name of Jesus.I decree and declare that my marriage shall bear good fruits in Jesus' name. Every Spirit of barrenness is broken, and destroyed by the power of the blood of Jesus in my marriage in the name of Jesus. Every pain, bitterness, anger, unforgiveness, revenge, negative talks, hurt, sorrow, hatred wounds bothering In my marriage, balm of Gilead cleanse it, heal it Lord, in the name of Jesus

16.I decree and declare that the scent of  my marriage shall be a pleasing aroma in your sight Lord and in the body of Christ  in the name of Jesus. I decree and declare that springs of life from your fountain will come forth and water every dry area in my marriage the name of Jesus. Resurrection power of God rest upon every dead area in my marriage and resurrect it in Jesus name .I decree and declare the Angel in charge of marriages shall walk with me in my marriage .I release every goodness my marriage is to bring to my life   in Jesus name.

17.Let every stranger in my marriage be evicted in the name of Jesus. Let the angel of the Lord pursue to destruction every stranger in my marriage in the name of Jesus. Every ungodly voice over my marriage be silenced by the voice of the blood of Jesus. Blood of Jesus blot out every wicked ordinance that is standing as a testimony against my marriage in the courtrooms of heaven in the name of Jesus. I station the Angel in charge of marriages at the gate of my marriage in the name of Jesus.

I stand in agreement with what the Angel in charge of marriages is confessing before the courts of heaven concerning my marriage in the name of Jesus. I stand in agreement with what the blood of Jesus is speaking before the courtrooms of heaven concerning my marriage in the name of Jesus. I stand in agreement with what Jesus the mediator is speaking before the courtrooms of heaven concerning my marriage.

Father I  pray let my offerings and tithes stand as a testimony and a witness on  behalf of my marriage  in the courtrooms of heaven  

18. Father, I pray to arise and become a witness for me against every sorcery directed at my marriage, adulterer in my marriage, oppressor of my marriage, perjury against my marriage, in the name of Jesus Christ. I decree and declare that the bars of my marriage gates will be strengthened in the name of Jesus. I declare my marriage shall be restful, joyous, happy, full of the glory of God.I station these words at the gates of my marriage in Jesus' name. I put the seal of the blood of Jesus on my marriage in the name of Jesus Christ.

19. Every deaf and dumb spirit that causes my spouse not to see me let it be destroyed in the name of Jesus. I release my spouse from every imprisonment of the enemy in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord, I thank you for perfect harmony within my marriage. I declare and decree that the evil spirits of confusion, discord, discontentment, disharmony, bitterness, anger, adultery, and un-forgiveness have any place in our marriage. I declare this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I declare and decree that only the peace of God, the anointing of God and the Spirit of God dwells in our home and in our marriage. I say that every door is closed to the enemy. You are NOT Permitted or Allowed in this marriage! I decree that Satan will not kill steal, or destroy our marriage, and no weapon formed against this union shall prosper (John 10:10, Isaiah 54:17).

 20.I say my ( husband/wife) and I are strong in you, Lord, and in the power of your might, and this threefold cord will not be broken (Ephesians 6:10, Ecclesiastes 4:12). I come against every plot of the enemy to use third-party sources to speak against, strategize, and form evil schemes against our marriage, and again I say, no weapon formed against our marriage shall prosper. I come against all forms of evil, witchcraft, ill-spoken words, ill-wishes and desires, and witchcraft prayers of others targeted against our marriage, and I plead the blood of Jesus over our marriage and union. I declare that what you begin you will complete, and what you put together, no man will be able to put asunder (Philippians 1:6, Mark 10:9).

 21.I thank you, Lord, that from this day forward, my ( husband/wife) and I walk in full agreement, divorce will NEVER be an option, and through the power of your Spirit, we will walk in love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, kindness, faithfulness and temperance with one another, in the name of your precious son, who died for both of us a brutal death so we could live our lives and marriage together in victory, in Jesus name Amen!. (Galatians 5:22). My husband is careful with his words and thinks before he speaks. (Proverbs 13:3).My husband protects me and our children at all costs. He surrounds and defends all who try to come against us. (Psalm 34:7).My husband’s words are not his own, but are Yours, Lord. You see his heart and its meditations are pleasing to You. (Psalm 119:11; Psalm 19:14)
 
22.He speaks Truth, no matter the cost, knowing that Your wings will protect him. (Galatians 4:16; Ephesians 4:15).You have given my husband a sound mind. He does not balk in the face of fear. He is fearless in You, knowing that he will trample on the enemy’s head. (2 Timothy 1:7; Luke 10:19). My husband is a man of one wife, the love of his youth. What You have brought together, no man can separate. (1 Timothy 3:2; Matthew 19:6).We declare that our marriage will operate in divine prosperity, and we shall not lack any good thing. We have the wisdom of God operating in our marriage, and we shall be prosperous and successful.

   Our marriage is based on the Word of God and we walk by faith in our marriage, not by sight or circumstance! In the name of Jesus, we are the redeemed of the Lord, and we have all that we say. All that we have declared will be established unto our marriage, now, in Jesus’ name.

PRAYER OF ACTIVATION TO DECREE AND DECLARE:
Lord, I admit, that I have not sought Your will for my spouse. I have been tempted to see what the enemy wants me to see and not what You see. I repent for that and I turn from my ways. Lord, I want to see my spouse the way You see my spouse. I know that the plans You have for us are for good and not destruction. Help me to see the best in my spouse in all situations. Help me to see Your will for my life. Lord, take me to step by step into Your Word to decree and declare what You see in my spouse. Help me to say it every day and believe that it is true, even if the enemy tells me otherwise. I set the foundation of my marriage on You, Lord, the Rock, and not the sand that can easily be swept away. With You, Lord, all things are possible. With you, Lord, my marriage is firm and immovable. Nothing can separate what You have joined together. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen

When we make these declarations--they are prayers, said in FAITH! They refute the lies of the enemy. First comes FAITH, then comes knowing, and THEN comes *seeing*---where we will begin to see the natural manifestation of these words, happening. (I have witnessed this)

After scriptures, we can also 'speak life' into our current situation. For example...we pray for restoration as if it is something we arrive at or accomplish, putting aside that it is a process.

Consider this statement: "I don't understand!" It is a dead-end destatement that says I will never understand and it contains NO possibility of understanding. It blocks any more thought on the matter. However, if you change it slightly to: 'I don't understand right now, but I will eventually.' SEE THAT? Completely different perspective! Now, there are possibilities--the possibility of understanding! Yay.

Be diligent NOT to make declarations of never and always...such as: He/she will never change. First off, that is a bold face lie. Everyone is changing every moment they breathe. It's impossible to not change because one minute ago you had not read this sentence and now you have...that is a change right there. See what I mean?

Praise the Lord, my husband was open and honest about his income. Thank You, God for moving in my husband's heart. I know You are working. Lord, I want to thank You in advance for the restoration of my marriage. Let our marriage be stress-free, trouble-free. We invite Your presence into our home and pray that it produces the type of harmony that results in the oneness of purpose. May we be one together and one with You as we submit to Your purpose for our marriage. We give You thanks in advance for the peace that will exist in our marriage, even in the changing circumstances.
