Just want to share you this about "Living Sacrifice." 

 

Romans 12:1-2 teaches us how to have the ability to test and approve His will for us - His good, pleasing, and perfect will. The basic requirement of course is experiencing the reality of God's mercy in our lives. After that experience, the ability to test and approve God's will for our lives depend on how we use our freedom in Christ. God wants us to use our freedom by deciding to do three things:

 

1. To offer our bodies as living sacrifices. In the Old Testament, they offered dead sacrifices. But since Christ died once and for all for our sins and we also died with Him, we are now called to live for Jesus. And that new life we have in Jesus is lived by offering our bodies as living sacrifices. The apostle Paul said, this is our spiritual act of worship, meaning our life now in Christ in its entirety is worship.

 

2. Non conformity to the pattern of the world. This world has a pattern. We are called not to conform to its pattern.

 

3. Transformation of our being by the renewal of our mind.  

 

Reflect on the meaning and the application of these three decisions you have as a woman of God set free by grace, I believe that the immediate result is that you will have the ability to test and approve the will of God for your life.
