I have been struggling for many days now,
Wondering which way to go...
I am climbing a mountain...
Just a few more feet, then I can lay down my burdens
And rest beneath the trees.
Lord don't move that mountain,
For I have been praising you as I go...
You alone know what I am going through
Please help me to reach my goal
Lord Let me climb that mountain and collect my many rewards:
A rest beneath the trees,
A song bird to sing for me as I enjoy the peaceful breeze
Lord don't move that mountain its all I can see.
If the view from the top is as lovely as the one I see here at the bottom,
Then my hard work will all be worth it,
As at the top I rejoice.
Well would you look over there,
Some more are climbing too!
Lord, help me up this mountain,
For the valley I have already battled through
I don't think I can climb any more...
Father lend me a hand,
Help me climb this mountain so that view I can adore
I thought I was slipping Lord and my hands could hold no more
Than a stranger reached his hand into mine and pulled me over the edge
I made it to the top!
With your help Lord
You sent someone to help me when I began to fall
Then you gave them the strength to lift me up,
Burdens and all!
Father you are so merciful
I thank you for the mountains we climb each day
But most of all Lord, I thank you
For those you send to help along the way.
