Letting God be first in your life.

I just received an encouraging message from one of our members at Text The Word. It seems that yesterday’s verse really had an impact on her life. She was invited to go out for a drink with one of her colleges. It would have been good for her business relationship but her spiritual life probably would have suffered because the man did not reflect any sign of Christianity. She had just received a daily text from us prior to the invite and the verse of the day was 1 Corinthians 15:33 Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.” She declined to go out with him and told me she felt as though God was trying to protect her from an inevitable bad relationship. Good job!!! and blessed is the way of the Lord.

It is great how God works in our lives and how we receive encouragement and motivation to do the Christ like thing just when we need it. I praise the Lord for what He is doing for our ministry and pray that He is working in your life and through you as well. I hope that everyday and every acquaintance we are reflecting
our walk with God and encouraging others to become Christians by our actions and our behaviors. You can be assured that we are being watched by non-believers and the difference God has made in our life should be reflected in our actions. Proverbs 27:19 As water reflects a face so a mans heart reflects the man.
