LETTING GO OF WORLDLY SECURITY BLANKETS

What I am about to write comes straight from my heart. This particular writing is not for me , it is not about me, it is ALL ABOUT GOD and for HIS GLORY!
It is also for those who have lost hope and would like to find where "REAL HOPE" can be found.
Many of the on-line friends and Christian family that God has blessed me with know and have read some of the testimonies that God has given me to share and may recall the one titled "A Cross in the Snow."
God has reminded me of that testimony many times since it was written two years ago and last night,once again, that story continues.
Two days ago I was on top of the world (that old devil never much likes that) and within 24 hours I was bombarded with quite a few critical setbacks.
For the last few weeks I have had a concern that in some ways I was feeling like a hostage to this world because of certain circumstances and those circumstances closed in on me this week.Some things have to fall apart before they can be rebuilt and I so believe that is what is in God's plan at this moment.
Too many times He has shown Himself to me in ways that ONLY GOD CAN. I KNOW He is holding my hand and walking me through this right now.
I am still on top of the world because Our Father walks with me, the devil is beneath our feet and he's about to get another kick in the butt, AGAIN!
Things slowly started falling apart in Calgary and while they could not fall apart any more than they had, God was working on a better plan and He opened the door for me to move to a place that has always been very close to my heart.
I am thankful to Him and thankful for the trials it took to make it happen as it was all a faith strengthener that allowed me to see and experience God at work as He has demonstrated to me so many times before.
Last night I was outside under the stars and in prayer. When I opened my eyes the first thing I saw was a big piece of stucco from the building I live in , lying on the ground. It was broken in half with a crack across it and a ridge on it running vertically. There was a cross in this slab of stucco. Just like the cross in the snow when God led me to a safe place out of a storm and some good samaritans who helped me get home that night,God has reminded me once again that He is with me through these new trials and that He will never forsake me.
The night of the cross in the snow He was leading me in a direction that was taking me FARTHER from home. I kind of questioned Him on that (in my human way) at the time but I kept going that way anyway because I know God knows what He is doing and besides, I could not seem to propel my feet to go in the other direction that my human mind was telling me was the right way.
The same thing is happening now in order to have God's perfect order for HIS PLANS, a wrecking ball has to come in to get rid of some clutter (clutter , I once saw as "future security")
God is my future security now!! One day at a time He will lead me and I will follow.
To anyone out there who is listening or reading this who has not found this hope, JESUS IS WAITING FOR YOU to accept Him into your heart and your life.
Once you have made this decision, "KEEP THE FIRE BURNING!"
Nurture your relationship with God because,after all its not about RELIGION,it's about a "RELATIONSHIP" with someone who loves you more than you can imagine. Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you in ways that will amaze you. GOD IS VERY REAL!!
This phrase just spoke to me "Calm before the storm!" Well, God will be your rock and the rainbow that makes everything fresh and new again after the storm is over.

So, personally, I am holding on and keeping my eyes UP through this all because my Brother happens to be a KING, God's voice has been heard again last night AND there's a big old slab of stucco sitting in my living room!!!! BE READY FOR A VICTORY PRAISE REPORT IN THE WEEKS TO COME.SMILES!!!

PRAISE GOD! THANKYOU LORD! ALL GLORY TO YOU HEAVENLY FATHER!!

P.S- Just as I was finishing writing this last night this song started playing on a new cd I bought and was clearly God speaking again. LET IT SPEAK TO YOU!!
