Letting Go

There are people who believe that holding on and never giving up a hopeless relationship is an evidence of strength. I respect the decision of those people who decide to persevere, but as for myself, I now see it more as a display of strength to finally give up a hopeless relationship.

My decision is based on my will to move on. I realized that as long as I try to win her back, the more it is difficult for me to move on. So I decided to finally give up for the pain is already too long and too much and I sometimes wonder that perhaps I am insisting on something that the Lord is telling me to stop.

I also realize that forgiveness does not always lead to a restored relationship. There are people who think that their offenses are too great thinking that they are beyond human forgiveness. Instead of humbling and changing their minds, they insist on their pride and as result they keep on ruining their lives.
