Hi,
It is my hearts desire to see our kids connect with God each week in sunday school. We want to empower them to really hear God....even when they are home and doing school.....
We have had the priveledge of attending two churches over the years that we now....at our new location try to imitate.
At http://RiverofLife@kpm.com of Pennsylvania,USA the kids were trained to believe that experiencing God was normal, daily bible reading was normal and hearing God for wisdom and direction was normal. I enjoyed watching the pastors nurture the kids that passed thru their doors.
PropheticDestinyMinistries.org in Maine,USA also trained kids to listen for God's still small voice. They train kids and youth to also ask God for encouraging words to bless others as well. They are "seers" and teach kids to really depend on the Holy Spirit to help them. Most of all they provided a training ground for the kids to "practice" listening to God for art, dance, writing, every aspect of life. It was a fun experience.
We still have these two churches mentor kids online...
BUT....
now that we have been relocated again....as Children's Pastor I am seeking God and advice to understand how to implement the concepts of not only hearing God... but WORSHIP.
How do we really impart a heart of worship to our kids. Any tips are welcome....
Blessings,
Lois,
