Kenya general election - 4th March 2013

Its now 12 days to Kenya general elections date.

Fear, anxiety, anticipation and so on is the mood. Prayers are being held from different angles, groups and supporters of different candidates.

The fear for the unknown, the comparison to the previous general election 2007 which turned out to be very violent with a history record in our country of over 1000 reported deaths, over 600,000 families displaces either temporarily or permanently and the massive distruction to property and facilities.

These 12 days event prior to the election day are worth documenting about.

Comment by Gina on February 20, 2013 at 1:06pm: Today evening in the news follow up of the post election violence in 2007/2008. A lady volunteered her sad, heart rendering experience of how she was gang raped, left pregnant and infected with HIV/Aids.

It is evident that so many women were raped, sexually violeted in different ways, genital mutilation and so much evil; it is not Godly and we need to agree and hold our prayers against all these kinds of odds.

God is merciful and ready to forgive us and protect us at all times.
