I've Been High Only Twice In My Life

I've been high only twice in my life. And they both accidents...no joke. I was with my mom and her friend and I told her friend that I couldn't get sleep. Her fsriend said, "I have some sleeping pills." I took up on her offer. Boy, was I oblivious. After about 15 mins of the pill being in my system, my eye lids were getting heavey. But at the same time I was acting weird. Jumping up and down. I remember laying at the edge of my bed and looking at my dirty coths hamper and the cloths looking like they were moving. For real! I

It was crazy. I even heard voices. The second time was by taking two Tylenol PM's and I had a sideaffect. I've learned my lesson about pills. Although these feelings of being 'high' were scary, to me, it still felt great. There were no worries.

Have you ever heard the saying, "Get high on Jesus." Well...that's real. I know it is by experience. I have been 'high' during prayer. My body was heavey, but a good heavey. I was dizzy, but it was amazing. I felt warm, and some type of embrace.

This was being "drunk on the Holy Ghost." If you read the book of Acts, when the apostles came out of the Upper Room people noticed that they were acting strange. They thought they were drunk! I can imagine how they were acting: stumbling(I've been in this while praying) acting funny(this is true) and saying random things(I have experienced this.) Finally, Peter stood and said, "These men are not drunk! They're just filled with the Holy Ghost1"

I have a little story. I just came out of my prayer closet and it was wonderful. Amazing. I've never, in a long time, felt God's Spirit to be so strong. And you know why? Because for about an hour I was listening to Gospel music and was worshipping Him in Spirit and in Truth! I was on the ground, groaning. My eyes were closed. I could feel Angel's touching me. But there's something that stuck out...

A bright light made my eyes dart open. It was...weird. It was like there was this bright white light right over me. It flashed! But it was the brightest flash ever.

My eyes opened and I gasped. I felt strange. I know it was God in the room with me. That was His confirmation. Wow.

God! You're AMAZING!
