Iplease help

I know that i have sinned against the lord and I have asked for forgiveness but I don't goto church but i do pray to him. I need some guidence please I just learened that i lost a very good friend in a car accident last night and I m having a hard time letting her go I mean I just talked to her not even a few days ago please if could offer me a passage to read that may help the bibe is what helps me in my darkest hours buy i don't know where to turn for this
