IN HONOR OF DAVE DRAVECKY
My body isn't perfect but thank God I can walk
Sometimes when people see me they stare at me and gawk
My left arm may be missing, a baseball I can't hold
But there's one thing that will not change
God's hand rests on my soul
I've had my share of trials; depression, stress and fear
But God has been there with me, his presence ever near
Of course there are sometimes I think of how I used to be
But God and I've been talking and he has a job for me
He wants me like I am for now so people know it's true
You don't have to be perfect for God to work through you
It may not be until the day the Lord comes back again
But that will be the greatest day there has ever been
That day I'll kneel before God's throne; in a loud voice I will sing
Then I will wrap BOTH my arms around Jesus Christ my King
Adopted from You Don't Have To Be Perfect
This is the Comeback Of Dave Dravecky
