Im proud to be a Christian...All praise to Jesus Christ

Hi...merry christmas and god bless all. I want to thank you for all of your posts and comments....all are greatly apprecaited.

I want to praise the power of Jesus name....I have been a practicing alcoholic(sp) since I was 21. Over the past few months I have been praying for the urge to be taken away. I am happy to say that through the power of Jesus Christ, my urge to drink has all but vanished. Yes, I slip up now and then, but I went from drinking everyday for over 18 years straight to maybe once a week. I still have the urge occasionally, and am weak now and then...but am vastly improved from what I used to be. The urge to even drink is pretty much gone.
