One of the most valuable things that a person could possibly have is an intimate relationship with God. That same God who is big enough and powerful enough to create the whole universe is also small enough and caring enough to desire a personal relationship with you--a relationship that will last for eternity.
Of course, such an intimate friendship won't happen by chance. Your relationship with your best friend didn't come overnight, and your relationship with God is no different. It requires time.
There is a principle that can be seen both in the Bible and in the world, which basically states that you reap what you sow (see 2 Corinthians 9:6; Galatians 6:7-8). However, you can't expect to reap a harvest on seeds you've never sown. In other words, you can't expect to know God well if you don't invest significant amounts of time and energy into the relationship.
Therefore, it is very important how you use your time. No wonder Paul, in Ephesians 5:15-16, wrote this: Be very careful, then, how you live -- not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Here, Paul is encouraging us to use our time wisely--that is, to make the most of it.
The way to make the most of your time is to invest it into something of great value that lasts forever--an intimate relationship with God.
Reserve a specific slot each day to spend time with God. Don't do anything else during that time; make it your time specifically for you and God. You can't use the excuse, "I'll read my Bible and spend time with God, as soon as I can find some time." You will never find time! You must make time. Therefore, reserve time for God, remembering that time is the price you must pay for intimacy with God.
Many blessings on you my dearest sister in Christ Jesus, you are a blessing to us on AllAboutGod.Net. May the goodness of the eternal one keep you sound in the Faith now and ever, in Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Yours in Christ Jesus

Thank you so much for these words, I continue to bask in my quiet time with God, for in his presence there is fullness of joy, at his right hand there is pleasures for evermore.
An intimate relationship with Our Lord is a 24/7/365 committment to be avalible and ready to listen, do and follow Him who is our very breath and light and food. He is our very existance and if we cannot commit to this then we should not have a halfhearted now and then relationship with Him as this is not how it works. HIs word says You must be either HOT or COLD if you are LUKEWARM He will spew you out of His mouth so be very careful and very sure of your relationship with Our Soon and Coming KING He is very specific about what He expects from a realtionship with us
Quiet, intimate fellowship with God should be every Christian's #1 priority; it is why we were created in the first place, and why Christ died for us, how God chooses to transform our hearts, and what we will be enjoying throughout eternity!
Glory to God..
now... you're learning mom.. !!!!!
God is always there for us, but sometimes we use to ignore or even abusing His love and goodness,
sometimes we need to use the two words and apply it: SILENT and then LISTEN....
in able that God can truly speak unto us and hear His voice, knowing His great plan for all of us..
I love you, mom..
yes truly take time with God, because He give all His time for us.. because of His infinite love for us.Take all the opportunities what God has given us. donot just sit, doing nothing.. Now it's time for us to talk to Him one on one.
