God's love!

Have you ever gotten something you did not deserve :) and then wondered, what happened here ? This happened to me.

Going back to when I was 20 years old and I was looking for a job. Here I was sitting in the office of the boss of this company where I applied, I was being interviewed and was asked so many different questions including my political idiology. One of the questions was: " Does anybody in your family belongs to the Militha? ( certain political party ). My answer was and without hesitation: " No, thank God ". After that, I shrunked in my seat, hoped the earth would swallow me, realized I just made a huge mistake. I just told the boss how glad I was not to be in his political party. The next two and last questions were: " what did you say the name of the person who sent you here and how do you know him? "
I gave him the name and the degree of my relationship to him and left thinking to myself: Oh my gosh, that was bad, what was I thinking? Yes, it is ok to say" No" because it was the truth, but the thanking part was very inappropriate :)

My brother's friend knew what happened, it did not phase him one bit and all he did is assuring me that he got the connection to the boss and I am going to get the job no matter what.
At the same time, my own brother was somewhat doubtful and had a very little hope of me getting this job because of what I said in the interview.

My brother's doubts reminds me of others who look or listen at something we do or say and pronounce a death sentence on us.
The response of my brother's friend keep reminding me of Jesus who through the pages of the bible keep telling me and you about Himself and His relationship to us:" Come to me, trust in me, only me, in what I said and done, do not worry about what this one says to you or about you, or the things you have done or said. I am Jesus, I am God, I am in control and I will take care of you".

Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give ye rest.

A couple days later, I was informed that I got the job, wow!!!!!! Just like that, no more questions were asked.
I started working in a company where the boss knew very well that our views did not match, yet we both had favor with one another.

This true incident that happened to me in my early years keep reminding me of God's love and acceptance for you and me because of what Jesus did for us and only because of Jesus connection to God. I got this job, not because of me, or anything special about me, I got it because of my connection to my friend and my friend connection to the boss.

Just like Jesus said about Himself: " I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me " John 14:6

I believe God the Father accept you and me based on the finish work of the cross. You can not please God based on your ability and who you are by yourself, you only please God by faith alone, by your connection to Jesus.
God the Father listens to our prayers, anything we have to say or bring before Him has to go through the blood and the name of Jesus, not your name or mine or any other name whatsoever, only the name of Jesus.

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

There is nothing you did or able to do to stop God from loving you or closing the door in your face, nothing at all. And why? because He knows who you know, and His name is Jesus.

God the Father knows who you are connected to, who is your friend, who is willing to help you? And His name is Jesus!!!!!!!!

God the Father accepted Jesus before He accepted you and the only reason you have favor with God is because of Jesus!!!

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
