God's Domain

Yestebrday I invited some of the youth in our church to facilitate to our wards. Our wards at the refuge center are composed of abuse, abandoned and street children. The event was organized with the objective to deepened the faith of the wards. Though I am a Clinical Psychologist by profession I have a very strong conviction that only God has the power to heal and transformed these kinds to become healthy, normal and independent individuals when they will become adults. Was quite anxious that the youth facilitators might not be able to do my expected outcome of the event. Some of our wards are diagnosed as mentally challenged. I roamed around from one break out group to another insuring that the lesson be instilled in each wards' minds. The Holy Spirit prompted me to be still and entrust everything to the Lord. As I settled to the table at a distance from where the event was. I was convicted that the making of the person of all those kids is of God and not mine. How little faith I had that i wanted to be in control to a domain which is not mine but the Lord's.. It was not only the children that was transformed yesterday but also me that the best way to grow in faith is to surrender everything in God's hand. Yes, to fully live spiritually is to die to oneself that the Potter's hand can shape and mold us greatly. . .
