God’s Greatest Treasure

From the time when money was created by the Phoenicians in 1500 B.C, the human race discovers how money change them; from the way people will treat and look at them to the way of their lifestyle. It can also bring fortune and fame, which people are trying fight and die over as the value of money rises.

Why do we need it? Because it is one of the things we need to survive in this world and that is considered as one of the people’s treasures: their gold, properties, business, collections and other material things that are too important for them. For contented people, their treasure was their family, loved ones, their job that keeps them survive, and also, the blessings and providences that God give them. For you, what is your greatest treasure? Are you one of them? Why is it so important for you? How can you say that the one you’re holding is a treasure?

Well, people nowadays were in hunger for power, fortune and fame in order to survive. Some were not contented and steal or get others’ treasure and call it their own. Some were saying that they are claiming other’s treasure.

They didn’t even know that they can’t even bring power, fame and fortune to the other life. There’s someone who was the most superior and has that three aspects of supremacy: Our God who created everything possible.

He has the treasure which was really given for free that the people didn’t take it: The eternal life, a one-time offer that God given to us. It was His treasure; He wants us His children to have this treasure. It may be all material things can help you today but we can’t bring that up to eternal life. God’s biggest treasure is having that eternal life given to you so that you will live with Him and the angels eternally.

When it seems you are wandering that you don’t have any treasure, well, consider that you have given an eternal life by God. It was the greatest treasure of all.
