God is opening up my eyes

How true this is. In my last post I was mentioning problems that I was and still am having in my life. Well besides my living status that I am still having problem with I was also dealing with my mother. To fill you in on her she is the kind of woman who needed others to watch over her. After my father passed away, and I was living on my own there was my Grandparents to watch over her. Once my Grandfather passed away the house that I grew up in was sold and my mother went to go live with my Grandmother. My mother was my grandmothers eyes, since she could not see to well and my grandmother well took care of my mother. Since my mother did not drive and my grandmother could not to see I stepped in and started to take them shopping for food once a week, taking them out to dinner, and to the doctors and what ever else they needed help with. I was doing this for many of years and when my Grandmother started to decline and my mom was not able to take care of her let alone herself. My aunt decided to put my grandmother in a nursing home. When that day came where she moved to a nursing home my mother came to live with me. She was with me for two years it was getting very hard to take care of my mother and my kids. One day at the end of March of this year she ended up in the hospital and from there she had to go to a rehab place cause she was unable to climb stairs and since the bathroom and her bedroom where upstairs in my place she could not be with us. From this point on I prayed to God everyday to help me out not only with my living situation but also with my mother. I needed her to stay in the nursing home so she can get the proper care she deserves and not to mention to be around others of her own age. In order for her to stay in a nursing home I needed to get her on insurance through the state cause my mom could not afford a nursing home on her own. With everything else that was going on in my life and then dealing with the paper work for the state insurance I was a total wreck. Like I said I was praying to god everyday for help with my mother. I feel God pointed me in the direction to go and seek help with the situation. That is when I found, what I feel is my angel from above, a lawyer. This lawyer helped me out so much with the paper work, the letters and all the phone calls I had to do in order to get my mom on the state insurance. Not only did she help me out with all this she even offered me a position to be a part time companion to some of her other clients because I did tell her I was a CNA. (The job position is still pending). I even remember one day as I was sitting in the lawyers office, and up on top of a bookself I seen a wooden block that was painted blue with yellow words saying Jesus and next to that was a ceramic Angel. She told me how she got the angel but to me it just felt like this lawyer was truelly my angel sent to me to help me out and that block of wood and ceramic angel were my eye openers, my proof that God is with me.

A couple of days ago I recieved a letter from the state saying that my mom has been accepted for the state insurance, so she is able to stay where she is at and get proper care.

I always did believe in God and in Jesus and even more in these days. I prayed everyday for help with my mother and I recieved it.Thank You Jesus!

I just have to add, I am still praying for my living situation.
