You have GIVEN YOUR LIFE TO JESUS! At one point in time, Holy Spirit showed you your need to come to Christ; Messiah; the Saviour. You have a freewill, and you chose to SERVE HIM. The more and more I think on this I begin to, find such the “great Peace!” As I humble myself before Him, which that in itself is a natural response. He deserves All of my Praise; all my Worship and Honor. His Grace what can we say about His Grace? The Grace of God is, as no other thing. Nothing can be compared to it, because it stands all on it’s own. It must be accepted and received as a gift. Our Faith is given to us from God. As we gain the knowledge, recognizing and affirming the Power held in Grace. Eph 2:8- 10 God saved you through faith as an act of kindness. You had nothing to do with it. Being saved is a gift from God. It's not the result of anything you've done, so no one can brag about it. God has made us what we are. He has created us in Christ Jesus to live lives filled with good works that he has prepared for us to do. This for so many is quite a challenge, some actually look for reasons why, there must be more to it. But, that is just it, to see God as so Good to us, and then to see ourselves so Blessed because of His Goodness. So, let’s be clear, Rom 11:6 And since it is through God's kindness, then it is not by their good works. For in that case, God's grace would not be what it really is--free and undeserved. Free and undeserved, that is what God’s Grace really is! For those who are struggling with the idea of, free against earned. Rom 4:4-5 When people work, their pay is not regarded as a gift but something they have earned. 5However, when people don't work but believe God, the one who approves ungodly people, their faith is regarded as God's approval. This is key to, learn and be aware of Grace. This keeps us humble, as we realize Gal 5:4 For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God's grace. To keep this from happening we continue in His Word. And, find out that, Titus 3:5 He saved us, but not because of anything we had done to gain His approval. Instead, because of His Mercy He saved us through the washing in which the Holy Spirit gives us new birth and renewal. Now we begin to see, in another way “in our weakness He is Strong.” To see All that He has given us. What then is our next move? How can we ever show Him our appreciation? 2Peter 3:18 Rather, you must grow in the Grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All glory to Him, both now and forever! Amen. The more we desire to seek out the Lord, as 2Peter says, “you must grow in the Grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” As we do this, we discover what God had in mind the whole time. 2Tim 1:9 For God saved us and called us to live a Holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was His plan from before the beginning of time--to show us His Grace through Christ Jesus. 1Peter 1:2 God the Father knew you and chose you long ago, and His Spirit has made you Holy. As a result, you have obeyed Him and have been Cleansed by the Blood of Jesus Christ. May God give you more and more Grace and Peace. To know this is to Love this. God the Creator of everything actually knew us and chose us “long ago!” That humbles me, it blows my mind, and covers me with such Love. That makes me want to find out even more about Jesus. To find out what I am to do, how do I show my Love for Him? It can start with, Rom 6:14-16 Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God's Grace. 15 Well then, since God’s Grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we can go on sinning? Of course not! 16Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living. Well, there it is, we can choose obedience. The Spirit has made us Holy, as we obey God, that leads to righteous living. Let that then be how we live. Under Grace, new birth and renewal, talk about your second chances. It does not get any better that this. Let us say, “Thank You Dad for Your Grace. Thank You Jesus for well, EVERYTHING! Thank Holy Spirit for leading and guiding us through the thick and thin.” We have been given the tools and the ability to, live Holy lives, free from the hold that sin can have on a person. Strengthen by Grace to, truly help others. We have the Spirit to lead and guide us, so as we help others, we know it is through Him that we do. We are His, we have given ourselves to Him, so He can use us as He wants. All to His Glory, Praise, and Honor! How can we ever lose???
