Doubt be gone

Struggling with doubt. Yeah I go through that sometimes. Doubt    means to be uncertain about the truth and having distrust and having fear.Yes fear, and we know that God has  not given  us that.Fear does not come from God. But that is a spirit that wants to rule us and keep us in bondage.Maybe your going through a trial right now. And you are really uncertain that you are going to come out. Like John the Baptize in Luke 7:19-23-

John sent two of his disciples to ask the Lord, “Are You the Promised One, or shall we keep looking for someone else?”

20 They came to Jesus and asked their question exactly as directed by John the Baptist.

21 Before He answered John’s messengers, Jesus cured many from various diseases, health conditions, and evil spirits. He even caused many blind people to regain their sight.

    my sins and shortcomings have caught up to me,
    so I am swimming in darkness.
Like the hairs on my head, there are too many to count,
    so my heart deserts me. Doubts swallows the confidence that God has given you. It makes you live in defeat. When in fact God has called you to be  an overcomer.As the word of God says in Romans 8:37-But no matter what comes, we will always taste victory through Him who loved us. Not only is doubt  your enemy but it likes for you to gloat at your problems as though they are bigger than Jesus.Look at what happen to Peter in the word of God  in Matthew 14:29-30- Jesus said, “Come!” Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water to Jesus. 30 But when he saw the strong wind, he was afraid. He began to go down in the water. He cried out, “Lord, save me!” Doubt should never be in your heart. Because it will cause you not to have faith in what  you are asking Jesus in your  prayers. As the word of God says in Mark 11:23-If you do, honestly, you can say to this mountain, “Mountain, uproot yourself and throw yourself into the sea.” If you don’t doubt, but trust that what you say will take place, then it will happen. Not only is doubt your enemy it also messes with your emotions.Look at what David was going through in Psalm 42:5-Why am I so overwrought?
    Why am I so disturbed?
Why can’t I just hope in God? Doubt  can also causes you in your mind to tossed within. Like for instance you make up your mind about you going to do this for God or I believe what God says  but then you began to go back to those thoughts of defeat. Of saying I don't think God can do it, or I just look at how long I been in this problem. As the word of God says in James 1:6- But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.Those all are lies. And that devil is liar that is one of his strategies  to get you from  trusting in Jesus. Case in point with Eve and almost how the King of Assyria tried to talk Hezekiah in not believing that their city would be deliver. If you want to see read Genesis 3 and 2 Kings 20 and Isaiah 36-37.So to come out of doubt you gotta give your doubts to Lord, And you gotta ask the Lord Jesus to help you overcome them. As the word of God says in Mark 9:24- Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” You can ask God, because he said if you ask, you shall receive. As the word of God says in Matthew 7:8- For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. I hope this help you in your doubt.
