Don't leave home without them!

Just ONE question!

What would be the two things you would never leave home without? Wallet, mobile phone, keys, ID, credit card???...

For many, especially the young, one of those things would be the mobile phone. How did you ever survive before them? Now when we go out, we are able to stay in touch, and others can contact us. Well personally, when I go out, I don't really want to be contacted, so I don't answer my phone. I'll ring back when I'm ready.

But the two things I wouldn't leave home without are my purse and my camera. If I forget my phone that doesn't matter too much, but I can't leave the camera behind. You never know when there may be an extraordinary shot which you could miss without a camera. Okay, okay!! I'm just a mad amateur photographer!!

Anyhow, I was reading in my Bible about something else we should always take with us. In Proverbs 3:3-4, it says:

"Let not mercy and truth forsake you;
Bind them around your neck,
Write them on the tablet of your heart,
And so find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and man."

So, MERCY and TRUTH....

... Don't leave home without them if you want to get on in life!!! That's the idea that this dad was getting at. And so you don't loose them "tie" them around your neck, like you would a mobile phone. Fasten them to your being!

Anyhow, I've been looking into those two words and their meanings, but I haven't finished the study.So I'll continue this study in a day or two, and the first one will be mercy. So please stay posted!!
