All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

Does God Exist?... YES GOD EXIST !!!!
A woman went to a hairdresser to have her hair cut and blow-waved as usual. She started to have a good conversation with the hairdresser.
They talked about many things and various subjects. Suddenly, they touched on the subject of God. The hairdresser said: "Look, I don't believe that God exists as you say."
"Why do you say that?" asked the client.
"Well, it's so easy, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God does not exist. Tell me, if God existed, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be no suffering nor pain. I can't think of loving a God who permits all of these things."
The client stopped for a moment thinking but she didn't want to respond so as to cause an argument. The hairdresser finished her job and the client went out of the salon. Just after she left the salon she saw a man in the street with long hair and a beard. (It seems that it had been a long time since he had his cut, and he looked so untidy).
Then the client again entered the hairdressing salon and said to the hairdresser:
"You know what? Hairdressers don't exist."
"How can you say they don't exist?" asked the hairdresser. "I am a hairdresser and here I am."
"No!" the client exclaimed. "They don't exist because if they did there would be no people with long hair and beard like that man who walks in the street."
"Ah, hairdressers do exist, what happens is that people do not come to me."
"Exactly!" - affirmed the client. "That's the point. God does exist, what happens is people don't go to Him and do not look for Him. That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."

This is what i want to share with you today... truly i say that Without GOD,LIFE makes no sense at all !!!
Before we became born-again Christian.. Life is so misery.. no matter how much you urge to become happy and get rich there's still emptiness within me and my family.. but when we had a true relationship with God.. wow! Life is wonderful with God... God really exist and even we don't speak.. God can be seen in us... because He is within us and in us.... Even in times of difficulties... God exist .... and we must believe in Him...

The Bible says that we must accept by faith the fact that God exists: “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him” (Hebrews 11:6). If God so desired, He could simply appear and prove to the whole world that He exists. But if He did that, there would be no need for faith. “Then Jesus told him, ‘Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed’” (John 20:29). That does not mean, however, that there is no evidence of God’s existence. The Bible states, “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world” (Psalm 19:1-4). Looking at the stars, understanding the vastness of the universe, observing the wonders of nature, seeing the beauty of a sunset—all of these things point to a Creator God. If these were not enough, there is also evidence of God in our own hearts. Ecclesiastes 3:11 tells us, “…He has also set eternity in the hearts of men.” Deep within us is the recognition that there is something beyond this life and someone beyond this world. We can deny this knowledge intellectually, but God’s presence in us and all around us is still obvious. Despite this, the Bible warns that some will still deny God’s existence: “The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God’” (Psalm 14:1). Since the vast majority of people throughout history, in all cultures, in all civilizations, and on all continents believe in the existence of some kind of God, there must be something (or someone) causing this belief.
How do we know God exists? As Christians, we know God exists because we speak to Him every day. We do not audibly hear Him speaking to us(But some do hear His audible voice ok ) , but we sense His presence, we feel His leading, we know His love, we desire His grace. Things have occurred in our lives that have no possible explanation other than God. God has so miraculously saved us and changed our lives that we cannot help but acknowledge and praise His existence. None of these arguments can persuade anyone who refuses to acknowledge what is already obvious. In the end, God’s existence must be accepted by faith (Hebrews 11:6). Faith in God is not a blind leap into the dark; it is safe step into a well-lit room where the vast majority of people are already standing.

Kathleen.
Thanks for sharing the story about the hairdresser and the client response, wow, you are saying good stuff here. I am realizing here the power and the faithfulness of the Holy Spirit to show this client what to say when she did not know what to say.
You are so true Kathleen, we are empty without God. As for me, one minute with the Lord is better than thousands elsewhere, but thank God we are going to spend the zillions years with Him.
This is a good response to a hurting stubborn world out there and I will be using it. Thank you Lord for Kathleen!

This is a very nice analogy to use. Especially for someone (like myself!) who struggles with this issue and the issue of faith.
