Do Your Trust the Lord

This past weekend we had a Ladies retreat at a local lodge, it has the most beautiful gardens full of nooks and crannies where one can just sit and reflect on the word of the lord, and I was sitting near one of the many ponds on the property and as I was just thinking about how far the Lord has brought me since the days when I was homeless and living on the street

He gave me a vision which is just so relevant for all of us today, I saw a number of lovely gilded bird cages hanging in the trees and in the cages were all manner of "bird toys" and mirrors and nice things to eat and sticks and things to sit on and as I looked all the gates of the cages were open and none of the birds showed any inclination to flying out. and as I asked the Lord the meaning of this He said " before you were born I died to set you free from all manner of things that can hold you captive Your need to fly put of your comfortable cages and to trust me with EVERYTHING let go of the things that hold you caprive, let go of the jobs and the money and the safe little houses and let me give you the wings to FLY and to BE ALL that I have estined you to be. but unless you TRUST me I cannot use you  or set you free.
