Do you have control?

The enemy always waits for the second when you think you have got it under control.

Isn't that the truth? The devil loves watching us fall and the higher up and more in control we think we are... the harder we'll fall in the end. Who are we to say that we've got everything under control? That's God's job, not ours. If anything, when one says that they have it under control... it normally means that they are nothing close to having peace or security in their life.

I'm sure of one thing... I don't want to be in control of my life. It's too much to handle, and I feel more safe knowing that God is handling everything. There's a lot going on right now with me even that if I were responsible for keeping it in line and under control I know I'd fail.

So, do you have control? I would hope you would answer no to that question and be happy that you respond in such a way. We weren't created to have control; we were created to live out God's plan and share His love and mercy with those who know nothing about it, and we should be happy to do so! I certainly am. :) I love telling people how awesome my God is.

Take a moment a breathe, knowing that whatever you feel is out of control now... you can come to know that God is in control of that and in due time, everything will be okay. In fact, everything will be better than okay if you keep your strength and heart focused on the Lord.

We can't do anything of eternal value apart from our Lord and we should completely embrace the fact that He holds us and the universe on the palm of His hand. He will however allow us to think we are running things so we can come to the end of the "Self" life.

Kudos to you young sis, for God has blessed you with a beautiful truth.
