Scriptural Readings: Psalms 147:5; Hebrews 13:20-21
We are imperfect and we know this perfectly to ourselves. The year is about to end and most of us are still struggling on somethings and perhaps expecting the next year would be a better one. Just to start with is one difficult thing to figure out. What comes next sometimes becomes a burden. There has got to be a point where it is not really that difficult to live our lives the whole year round.
Psalms 147:5 Great is our Lord and abundant in strength; His understanding is infinite.
One thing that might slipped our minds(we forget a lot of things!)is that God knows us. He created us and there is no reason why we should doubt that He can make our lives a lot better. The thing right now is that we always end up asking questions and always confused. It all started when we chose the wrong thing. We should have taken the tree of life rather than choosing the tree of knowledge of good and evil. To know ourselves requires unlimited pleasant and unpleasant experiences. In order to know God we must confront these things that blocked us from having a relationship with Him.
Hebrews 13:20-21
v.20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
v.21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom [be] glory for ever and ever. Amen.
As always, since we cannot and is impossible to reach our God, He made a way that we can reach Him. It has to be very clear that all our own ways to go through Him will never come to fruition. This is the main cause that is why we cannot fully understand ourselves. The presence of God in our whole being is the key in order for us to clearly see who we are and who He is. Jesus died for us. The precious blood that has been shed became the contract that God can only honor. The blood sealed the contract between us and Him.
Now, He can work in us! Our intentions coming from Him not from us will become very clear and of course, it is perfect. Therefore now pleasing in His sight. The way we think is not the way we think like that from the past. Our undertakings would be perfectly accomplished because Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit will be with us.
Heavenly Father, our ways is not your way. Show us your way. Thank you for Your Son Jesus who will never leave us nor forsake us. Infill us with Your Holy Spirit that we may give you all back the glory and Honor. In Jesus name we pray. Amen!
