I. Origin and nature of the demons
There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of lod, ment of renown. Gen. 6:4.
The angels transgressed this appointment and were captivated by love of women. And they baegat children, who are those who are called demons.
None of the demons possess flesh. Their structure is spiritual, like that of fire or air. And only by those whom the Spirit of God dwells in and fortifies are the bodies of the deomons easily seen, not atlall by others.
The demons who rule over men are not the souls of men.
The emons werfe driven forth to another abode.
These angles, then, who have fallen from heaven, and hunt the air and the earth, and are no longer aable to rise to heavenly things, and the souls of the giants, who aer the demons who wander about the world, perform similar actions.
The philosophers acknowledge there are demons.
